This is how relationships should be. If "trust, same team, same page, shared interests" is a departure from typical dating/relationships, that only shows just how messed up typical dating/relationships are. It's not supposed to be a dramatic affair of game-playing, trying to impress one another, trying to "trap" the other in a relationship, jealousy, etc. I'm so tired of those old tropes, which are actually toxic and dysfunctional relationships.
