Yep, I just got into Pfizer's trial, with my first appt to get the first dose (of either the vaccine or the placebo later today, and the second dose scheduled for 2-3 weeks later. So if they're still enrolling people for the trial and starting the first round this week, I doubt October would be a feasible deadline. That is not necessarily true, there are two certifications going on now, one for the fast track with lower requirements, and one for long term certification with normal requirements. Even if the vaccine is approved for the fast-track, it would need the full approval for next year for example.
