The doctor was wrong, there WAS something wrong with me. Is this common in other countries, or is it just because hospitals and healthcare in America are inherently classist? I don't think I've ever seen a hospital situation like that here in Canada. In Canada, well, Ontario specifically you can purchase an upgraded private room while admitted to hospital.
