My friend is moving to near his wife's family with his newborn son. Him and his wife asked her parents to get tested before they agreed to introduce their child to them. They pushed back. This is the hill they want to die on. Proverbially and literally. Imagine not meeting your grandchild because you're so intent on owning the libs I hope they stand their ground.
