My dad has some cousins like that. Only ever saw them at funerals but they always left before the actual service began. I know they don't celebrate birthdays, holidays, or personal achievements so it's impossible to be a normal kid in a JW household.I'm not sure why people would purposely marry anyone on the extreme ends of the religious spectrum (like hassidic jews or jehovah witnesses for example) if they are not part of that subreligion, seems insanely odd to me. Even with atheists, I can't grasp how atheists date and marry christians or muslims, seems insane to me to want to get involved in that situation.
