My Republican parents sent me to Catholic school. At home we were volunteering for the Bush campaign and singing "put a boot up their ass" along with Toby Keith. At school we were being taught to turn the other cheek and "blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called sons of God."According to Christians, Jesus literally died trying to help all people. Christians are supposed to follow Jesus' actions and yet, the vast majority of them are perfectly fine with letting people die. A decent Christian would fight to the death to enable healthcare for all people.
