And the Democratic party has and will always be a big tent of coalitions because the Republican party does not tolerate dissent. Progressives need to build coalitions. Bernie doesn't do that. He runs as an independent when it suits him, and Democrat when he wants to. Does anyone remember him goading Trump into a debate well after Hillary was the nominee? This is why AoC has grown lukewarm over her endorsements of Justice Democrats. She's clever and realizes that you make progress by numbers and not by rhetoric.
