In the UK, I have seen (both as an involved and a third party) police on random patrol stop to check on the wellbeing of people on the street who have fallen or been hurt in an accident. I can't imagine them driving past without stopping, unless they were required somewhere else.I'm from the US and live in the UK now and man is it amazing to see police officers here actually acting as public servants. I still cringe if I see people get assy with the cops cos I assume they're about to be tazed and tackled.
