I guess it just depends on the amount of content. the jump from $15 or $20 to $30 comes with an expectation jump as well. I would be less forgiving of a more expensive game that didn't live up to my expectations, than one that cost a smaller amount with the same content and polish. I personally think $20 is the sweet spot. There are so many new games competing for library space. If I am making my choice between two that look equally cool, I am going to pick the cheaper one to start.
