I was a smoker who wanted to quit. Patches, gum etc did jack shit to help. Vaping is what got me off cigarettes permanently. And I'm now Im the process of weaning off the vape, since it's way easier to control my nicotine intake I did it the same way, quit cigs two years ago and started vaping, and quit vaping in March. I just stopped, no patches, gum, etc. I admit, I get cravings, but they're momentary and nowhere near enough to get me to go buy something.
