I legitimately went to see Samson thinking it was going to be an action movie in the vein the Hercules movies..but no, its fighting isnt over the top, and it even makes a point to incorporate the donkey jaw he fought with...and his hair isnt the focal point of the story like I expected...it was a very surprising movie ...went for an action flick, got a church service lol While I do really like that movie because of my childhood (especially it’s animation style), it’s really not that accurate. For example they completely leave out that Moses was terrible at speaking to crowds and that God appointed Aaron to speak on his behalf. It does a good job depicting the plagues and other things as well, but my point being if you’re going to depict anything from the Bible you need to be 100% accurate.
