Hear me out, but I think we are just living in too divisive of times for this woman to be the nominee. Too much corruption and policy-bending lately for this situation to feel comfortable. I agree that we shouldn’t discriminate against people with religious beliefs if they’re running for office, but in this day and age unfortunately it just makes many people uncomfortable and leery. With other offices the people get a vote that ultimately decides if we want a Catholic (or other) person in office. Because this is an appointment, I can understand the hesitation.
