People know that coronavirus kills mainly the elderly. Yes obviously younger people die occasionally, but to be completely blunt, people just do not care that the elderly are dying. If covid killed indiscriminately, we would take it much more seriously. It’s exactly the same way people don’t care enough about global warming to actually make any changes. We are not being directly affected by it yet so it’s no concern. 40% of us don't care... even though it costs me more money I vote consistently to help other people have better lives and strongly support almost any proposed budget for local schools.
