I think that goes for any game. I know we make fun of Witcher fans, and I didn’t personally enjoy the game too much, but I’ve met some pretty cool and supportive people who loved the game. And as for Overwatch, which I used to play a shit ton, the people I played with in game (mostly competitive) were some of the most toxic assholes I’ve ever met. But by reaching out to areas outside of their competitive community and the game itself I’ve made some really good friends. Soundsmith and in general most tf2 youtubers are really nice. He even pokes fun at those sweaty edgelord monkeys.
