Whenever i think of all the things i have wasted in the past i always think about the sunk cost fallacy. If you aren't familiar i would look it up. It helps me realize that there is nothing I can do to change the past, but by recognizing the position i am in right now and deciding the best course of action consciously instead of floating on down the river of life, i can decide my fate at least a little more than what i previously had. And I get to know I did the best that I could. I don't. I let it fester and eat me from the inside. I'm not even 30 and I have no path. The only thing I want to do with my life is impossible from my state.
