I don't entertain it. You should focus more on how to train your mind to live in the present. This also means avoiding living in the future (which is what anxiety is). So if I catch myself wandering back to the "shoulda, woulda, coulda" then I recenter myself on what I'm currently doing. If I can't do that, then I will take a break, such as a nap if I can. If something like a nap or a short break is too hard (it makes the problem worse), then I recenter myself with breathing exercises or meditation.
