They accepted Thomas Aquainas' definition of what a living human being with a soul is and it's defined as someone who has fully developed human characteristics, limbs and all. But because of early scientific studies and shitty technology, scientists/researchers said that fetuses already look exactly like tiny human beings and referred to them as Homonculus so the catholic church based their belief on this+Aquainas' definition and hasn't changed their views even when modern science discovered that the homonculus thing wasn't true. I think this post is taking a stance against hate, and encouraging us to question people who may propagate hate and bigotry. I support this, and think it is good to question the individual the post references on these points.
