But...BUT....a funny thing happened in the past few years. Sobriety sits well with me. I realized "worth" is a bullshit concept. I define my worth. I define how "good enough" I am. Those companies that didn't hire me? That's their bullshit. I watched more than one of them hire a position and then that position went on to hire 3 or 4 more people - and within 6 months they were all gone. Company sucks at hiring. Some companies went under. As for the writing, maybe I'm not a good writer. I don't really care. I have fun doing it. I have fun world building. Maybe some day when my wife and I have kids I'll read it to them. Then we can build the world even more together if they want to.
