I think many a Catholic is familiar with Jesus' instruction to "render unto God what is due God, and to render unto Caesar what is due Caesar." As a..retired...Catholic, I personally have no problem with another person choosing to have an abortion; I'm just trying to keep my side of the street clean. When I get to be perfect, I'll start judging other people, but it aint gonna happen any time soon...that and, being a male, God forbid I have an opinion on the topic in this day and age. How is your premise any different from racism? If you want to know her position on abortion, just ask her. There are many Catholics whose individual opinions on social topics differ from those of the Church.
