Interestingly, it's a theme that pops up a good amount in video games. Bayonetta (an AMAZING game), while not attempting to necessarily be biblically accurate, definitely uses more of these non-traditional themes in its character design. Doom Eternal, of all games, has an extraterrestrial species with elements of both stereotypical angels and biblically accurate ones (basically beautiful robots with horrifying starfish aliens underneath) Doom 2016 is a goddamn shitkicker of a good time. Grab it and play it with the volume turned as high as you can tolerate. The soundtrack is excellent but combined with playing the game it makes you feel like the most metal motherfucker to ever exist.
