I imagine they're most popular in areas that have a lot of space to take them off roading, and also don't get snow. A major metropolitan area in the northeast is sorta the opposite of what they're designed for. I live in NY, but like bumfuck other side of the state from NYC NY, and theres plenty of jeeps without doors around me, obviously its mostly a summer vehicle unless they put the doors back on it I live on Long Island, yes it’s a thing here. I don’t know if I would drive around in a doorless Jeep in the 5 boroughs, but out on LI most people have garages to store the Jeep at night. A friend of mine had a Jeep and would open it up in the summer and leave it in his driveway.
