I went to a dinner party a while back. I was friends with the guy who was hosting but not his girlfriend (barely knew her). After dinner we were sitting with another girl, and she starts asking me about whether I want to get married to my boyfriend (who was at the party but in another room). I say.. 'Well, we don't have kids, so we haven't seen the need'. She looks at me like I'm insane, tells me that she and her boyfriend don't have kids either but it was because of a miscarriage, but that should still count (Barely know this person, bit of an overshare), and then starts yelling at the guy who was over the other side of the room 'Where's my ring?! Where's my ring?!'. I don't smoke, but I ran out to the balcony with my own boyfriend for safety.
