Retail Manager here. I used to work in a company with heaps of casuals who worked in all different stores - I would often have to contact other area managers so they could send their casuals over to assist in my area of stores. I worked weekends in whichever of my 4 stores needed help, especially if I knew a new person would be in store. I’m young, and area managers don’t usually work in store on the weekends, so these girls not knowing who I was (as I just liked to introduce myself by name and not by job title) would assume I was another sales advisor and start talking about their hangovers/how much they hate work/complaints about customers.
