I don't understand the craven, short term, obstructionist thinking. Even considering that this man may be re-elected and may grant favor on you for being one to support this garbage, you have to understand that by voting in this way, they are setting precedent. Instead of making this sham trial into a realistic sham trial, they have completely done away with any pretense that they are doing the job that they have been voted into. They have not only circumvented the opinions of 75% of Americans, but have also laid dangerous groundwork for the next criminal president. Democrat, Republican or whatever, they have set precedent that they do not want to look at evidence or talk to witnesses.
