For those of you who don't live here, the nail on the head is that there's no way to reason with the people who live here who vote these awful people into positions of power. They aren't interested in learning about the candidates or understanding what each party stands for or educating themselves on what is actually going on. It's incredibly disheartening and frustrating. Calling fundamentally undermining democratic principles and the integrity of the elections to determine the most powerful office in one of the most economically and militarily influential countries on earth behavior we don't like might just be the understatement of the century.
