That should've been my first red flag, since I didn't know if she really sued him to finalize the divorce or if he really did abuse her. Couple months into the relationship, I witnessed him yelling at the next door's kids who were being quite loud (they were running around the hallway), because he was taking a nap on Saturday afternoon. I'm talking about a grown man, just woke up, walked out, and yelled the living out of him at toddlers for being loud, went back inside, slammed the door in front of the kids, and went back to sleep. He never hit me or anything, but that was the first time I feel terrified being in the same room with him. To this day I don't know if there really was domestic abuse in his marriage, but I deffinitely think he had anger issues.
